What is a Film Editor?

I’d love to be a film editor as they get to play a very large and vital role in the creative post-production process of film making. Editors are responsible for putting together raw footage, selecting shots and arranging them into sequences in forms of visual media such as feature films, television shows and documentaries. They are in charge of manipulating the plot, graphics, and sound to polish the overall story into a chronological and enjoyable motion picture.

If you became a successful film editor you would get to meet a lot of fascinating people such as famous directors, producers and actors. You’d have the feeling of knowing you were apart of something big and would get to show off your skills to a large audience
